AboutWith a varied background in facilitation and dance, Katherine is a lover of all things wellbeing. She has recently returned to her ancestral home of Western Australia and has settled with her young family in the beautiful coastal town of Denmark. Where the forest meets the sea.
Drawn to a more gentle, slow version of yoga, Katherine is passionate about providing accessible yoga so all individuals regardless of background or ability can find mental stillness and deep relaxation. Completing the Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching (350hrs) with the Australian Yoga Academy, Katherine has practiced Restorative Yoga herself for close to a decade. She has studied Restorative Yoga with the Biomedical Institute of Yoga under the tutelage of Marian Cavanagh who trained directly with Judith Hanson Lasater. With extensive experience in the disability industry, Katherine holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Disability Studies along with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and Chair Yoga qualification completed with LV Chair Yoga Australia. Available for corporate groups, community based settings and retreats. Katherine intends to return regularly to Victoria for her signature rest immersions. Yoga has taught me patience, resilience and how to honour both the mind and body. I’ve signed up to a lifetime of learning and can’t wait to share my learnings with you. Want to know more?
