Kat, thank you for creating such a beautiful environment in which to practice and experience Restorative Yoga! Your passion shines through in your words and poses and together allow such deep relaxation and grounding. I look forward to every session!
Restorative Yoga is different from other active yoga styles that focus on movement and stretching. Restorative Yoga is a gentler practice which utilises bolsters, blocks and blankets to create mental stillness and deep relaxation for the body.
A welcome practice for our busy lives, Restorative Yoga is about taking restful postures that allow you to put your to do list aside, find quietude in the mind and heal the effects of stress.
An opportunity to slow down, do less and tap into the calm side of the nervous system. Your relaxation response.
Suitable for the beginner student or for anyone wanting to learn ways to reduce stress or tension in the body. Deeply nourishing for those experiencing chronic stress, illness, fatigue, anxiety or postnatal depletion.
In-person classes held:
Wednesday evenings & Friday mornings at Mindful, Emerald, VIC.
Monthly [Rest]orative Sundays at The Wellspring in Warburton, VIC.

Chair & Desk Yoga
Chair Yoga is a practice which modifies traditional yoga postures using the chair for support.
Suitable for the individual who finds getting onto the floor difficult, Chair Yoga offers all of the same benefits a traditional practice entails.
Desk Yoga provides corporate employees or those working from home access to the health and mobility benefits of yoga.
Specifically targeting stress and tension in the neck, shoulders, arms and wrists, Desk Yoga is a great way of providing wellbeing for your employees.
Sessions of Chair or Desk Yoga can be arranged for both individuals and groups face to face or in an online capacity.
A much needed stretch since we’ve been working from home for the last six months. Fantastic session led by Katherine and we would highly recommend it!
