Restorative Events in 2024
Transition from busy to being with a [Rest]orative Immersion
Ever wish your regular Restorative Yoga class was longer? Or are you seeking an experience that gives you the opportunity to slow down, do less and find deep rest?
Join me for these nourishing 2 hour weekend events as I guide you through a series of restful yoga postures designed to relax and restore both the mind and body. Fully supported with the use of a wide variety of props, helping you to transition into the calm side of your nervous system-your relaxation response. Held seasonally, the intention of these afternoon retreats are to experience the full benefit a longer restorative practice can offer. When we practise conscious rest:
- our stress levels reduce
- our immune system is strengthened
- we lower our blood pressure
-we support our mental wellbeing
Now more than ever we need to reconnect with rest practices that heal the effects of stress on the body.
No experience, flexibility or familiarity with Restorative Yoga is needed, just a willingness to find deep rest. Entirely floor based, all poses can be modified and adjusted to suit all bodies, injuries or ailments.
Places are strictly limited for an intimate afternoon of nourishment. Gather a friend or family member and join me for this special treat for the nervous system and carve out some precious 'me time.' Balancing zen tea and a sweet treat are included.
