Mums & Bubs Yoga Course
Such a beautiful nurturing experience where I could have some much needed downtime with my baby right beside me. Kat was so empathetic to our needs, helping out with the bubbas whilst the mummas were relaxing, loved it!
Find a sanctuary away from the stresses of parenthood with this 6 week yoga course designed specifically for Mum and Bubs.
Join me in a nurturing space to connect with your baby, meet other Mumma’s, and find gentle movement and rest. Suitable for babies aged 6 weeks and up until crawling. These classes are designed to explore:
- Poses of rest that counteract post natal depletion and fatigue
- Movement that unwinds aches and pains from feeding & baby carrying
- Gentle reconnection with your body postpartum
- A positive bonding experience with bubs
As a facilitator of rest this 6 week course will have a particular focus on building a toolkit of techniques that help to manage the fatigue, body aches and stress that new parenthood can bring. Allowing you to take the skills you’ve learnt on the mat into your everyday life. Yoga was a sanctuary for me post birth and I hope to share both my learnings and experience with you.

Can I join this class if I’ve never done Yoga before?
Of course! This course is a very gentle yoga class with lots of options to suit you and your postpartum body & needs.
When can I commence these classes?
Check in with your Obstetrician, Midwife or GP at your 6 week check up and ensure you’re all clear to commence gentle exercise.
I don’t have a newborn. Can I still join?
Most definitely. These classes are suitable for babies up until they are crawling.
What if I need to feed or my baby is unsettled during the class?
The studio has a seperate room that is suitable to feed or settle bubs in. There will be times you need to step off the mat and attend to your baby’s needs and I will support you to do this in the best way I can.
What should I bring to this course?
Bring a blanket or mat for bubs to make themselves comfortable on. Any small toys or a dummy to keep them occupied whilst you’re having some downtime.
It’s preferable to have your own yoga mat but blankets, bolsters & blocks are supplied to support your practice.
Wear comfortable clothing. Layers work best.
